Turn Around...

Well a few things have turned around lately.  First my back.  Yes, the muscle that has been giving me problems is still healing.  However today I had my first pain free day.  Why? Because I have been working out like my physical therapist wants and I bought a lower back core support to wear during the day.  Essentially it is like a tube top that you can wear under or over your clothes and it supports the back.  I wear mine over a black tank but under my dress shirt so nobody knows I have it on.  It is amazing, I was able to lift, twist, and turn without pain.  Not only that but my posture was fabulous and I felt taller as I walked.  Obviously I'm happy, hopefully my doctor will be happy when I see him on Wednesday for a checkup.  :D

In other news remember how I applied for one job... went on an interview... and then went back so that the school could see how I am at teaching?  Well after leaving me so psyched after the interviews the school ended up not contacting me.  Talk about being bummed out.  So I called them after the day that they said they would have a decision and they said they had interviewed another candidate and would get back to me at the end of the week.  So I waited... and waited.... and waited some more.  Chris talked me into not having my hopes up anymore because obviously they were not going to call.  :(   I was bummed out about it, but I have faith that things work out how they should.  The next day I went to work, kind of bummed because I really wanted that job.  My co-teacher told me that I should try calling them one more time and if that didn't give me any answers then I should put them in the back of my mind.  So I called and they didn't answer so I left a voicemail.  Oh well, I then continued on with the hunt of other positions through my regular search methods.  Maybe forty minutes after that I received a call from the school saying that they were sorry they missed my call and told me that they are offering me the position and the paperwork is currently being written up so that I can come in and sign as soon as it is ready.  So there you go :)  I have a full time, lead teaching position for the 2010-2011 school year.

Now someone pass me a drink because all of that stress was totally worth the wait. ;)
