With extreme happiness I am proud to say that my car is fixed! Not that anything was horribly wrong with it, but I couldn't drive with the AC on for a good week and a half due to a "hose" that collapsed on itself due to its age. I love my new-ish mechanics down here that have helped me each time that my car has needed up, and appreciate that they do not try to take advantage of the fact that I'm a girl. Much love to Westchase Tire & Engine! I've been lied to by several fix it places that thought I was a silly little girl without any knowledge of my vehicle but this place has always treated me great, and never tries to push additional repairs unless it really is necessary. However I think it helps that I also usually go into the shop knowing what the possible outcomes are... a big thank you to Google for helping me research issues. While my number 1 shop will always be the Ford Dearlership in Marshall, it is still nice to know that I have a shop around here that I can rely on for repairs that I need done quicker. After all, driving to Marshall without cool air would have been simply torture.
To my future Ford Edge... I guess you'll just have to hang out there a bit longer because my Focus is staying with me :)
