We have also reinstated our date night. It use to be on Sundays until we had a very disappointing dinner where my food showed up raw.... Seriously. My food was slightly baked on the outside but clearly raw on the inside. That kind of ruined what we had as our date night for awhile because it pissed both of us off since it was not the first time. Really? If you want repeat business at least make sure you're not screwing up the same persons order more than once and then telling them they have to wait for another meal to be cooked. Like I really wanted to watch my husband eat his meal and then wait until mine arrived so that I could be the only one eating. Not my idea of fun. Anyways so we have reinstated date night, but moved it from Sunday nights to Wednesday nights. This way we can look forward to something in the middle of the week to help pass the time by. We went out to dinner and followed that by going to the movies. I loved it, I'm happy, and so is my husband :)
Nothing else is new except that I'm patiently waiting to sign my new contract... remember how that is one of my life lessons? Boy do I really have to learn to be patient when exciting new things come along. I'm also slightly researching cars. While my car is okay I believe we may purchase a new one this fall due to the declining health of my current car which is 10 years old and over 120,000 miles. The catch... I love cars that Chris is not fond of due to looks and I want to find one we both like. The top contender right now is a Ford Edge... BUT i'm not in love with the inside because I don't like the roughness of the SUV look inside. I want car styling with the space of a crossover. So here are the cars that currently have my eye...
Toyota Prius - I've been eyeing this car since the first
one came out years ago.
Toyota Matrix - This car keeps catching my eye for some reason.
The catch... I don't trust Toyota at this time. It would have been one thing if they had said "Oops, okay there is a problem, we don't have a solution yet but we're working on it." Instead of "what problem?" and then just paid the fine rather than letting the government see their documents. It screams Guilty and although I know the chances are slim to none, I couldn't risk the chance of being in the car with Chris and our future family knowing that it could cause me to wreck because of a faulty whatever that the company isn't upfront about. With my Focus anytime there was a problem I was notified immediately and never had any issues with getting my car tested to make sure things were fine. However the Ford choices are getting slim to none because of the whole rugged interior. I love the new Focus coming out, they are bringing back the "5 door" which is what I have but with a major style over hall... but I want something a little higher up this time with more safety features. So who knows, atleast I have many months to figure it out.
