Another Change

Well enrollment for my kindergarten class is not high enough yet for the class to make. There is simply one student enrolled. On a good note there is still a month and a half left until school starts. On a not-so-great note it means that I have been moved for the time being. I will now be teaching the three year old class. To the left you'll see a picture of one of the three year old rooms. So far they have four three year old teachers... but only one three year old room listed... so I'm not really sure what is going on. Maybe one of the newer rooms will be changed to a three year old room?

Okay... so it's not that bad. I'll have an assistant (i think), and I'll only have 15 kids max. I'm only bummed because Kinder is one of my dream grades and I was soo excited for it. Heck first or even second would have been awesome too. I love that they are all still so innocent but also mature enough to do a bit more with. Pre-K last spring was okay... I mean they were cute... but they were SOO very egocentric. What about three year olds? Well from what I've read so far they LOVE to please so that is great! Don't get me wrong, I always say that a three year old child is the dream age, but I mean that as a mom. I've never had a classroom full of fifteen three year olds... have you?

So with all of my nervousness please wish me luck... and any tips you have for this age range please throw them at me. I know this is going to be an age that I'll love, I'm just a little nervous at the moment because I literally JUST found this out. If can have as much fun with twenty four year olds like I did this past spring, then fifteen three year olds will be awesome... right?
