This past Saturday I celebrated my twenty fifth birthday. I have been looking forward to this birthday for months. My parents came down to celebrate and see our apartment and Houston. I was so nervous about it because I wanted them to have a good time since we live so far. I'll be the first to admit that the drive is LONG and makes you feel very tired and worn out. Never the less we had fun, we went shopping, out to eat, watched a movie, and just enjoyed our time together. It was perfect and I hated that they had to drive back. I really do wish we were closer to home. My brother Alex had to work so he didn't come down this past weekend but in a few weeks he'll be coming down and we're going to go visit Nasa. Alex and Chris are both super excited about visiting Nasa so that's pretty cool.
As a reflection I want to make a list of all that I've accomplished in the past year. This is going to exclude couple stuff simply because I'll leave that for our 1st wedding anniversary post.
1. Completed student teaching
2. Moved to Houston
3. Graduated college
4. Found my first post college job
5. Obtained my first credit card without help.
It may be a short list but hey... that's okay because each feat on there is a major step in life so I feel like I accomplished a lot while 24 :)
