I've been waiting for this week for awhile now. Life has been moving at such a fast pace that I needed a break just to soak it all in.
My job at the new school is exhausting... but worth it. My worst days are the days that I don't stick to the plans, so I'm learning to stay with them to the T. The classroom has undergone a new transformation due to trial and error but hey... it is a learning process. Report cards are due next Friday but I feel prepared for those too.
This week I'll sadly be attending a funeral of an old friend that passed away Sunday morning. He was riding his motorcycle and a car pulled out and hit him. The details are sparse as of now but slowly through the grapevine I've been learning more. The funeral date hasn't been set but I'm guessing these things happen pretty quickly. It is amazing how one moment a friend is alive and fine but then the next moment they are gone and in Heaven. He was a real good guy. You'll be missed friend. :(
