It is no secret that I started applying to various jobs around the area. Why? Because I'm having more blah days than I'm having good days. I love my kids but there is definitely some things lacking at my job that I really see as valuable as a first year teacher. I'm still optimistic that those things will change, but honestly I'm not sure. That, along with the politics that come with the school, and the completely misleading information that was given before I started work. So yes... I'm casually hunting for next year.
In other news I had an important doctors appointment last week that I'm still waiting for the results on... nothing like pregnancy or anything, but it is nerve wracking when you have to wait two weeks for results.
No update on the home front... I'm still waiting for any kind of news. The holidays has definitely stretched the process out some. However we are hoping for a closing date of late January so this could be a good thing. In the meantime I am researching refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
