The House

So we didn't go into this looking for a house to buy... in fact we went just into looking to rent. However then we realized it is going to take us a lot more money to rentthan it would to buy because the amount needed each month renting wise was several hundred dollars more. So we thought about our options and looked into some information and decided to go ahead and buy our first starter home.

It was a simpler process than I thought, though it required a ton of paperwork. We negotiated a pretty good deal, and we are currently waiting for our official closing date. This week they are installing a brand new 25 year warranted roof upon the house courtesy of the sellers.

To Do List:

• switch out the carpet downstairs for hardwood floors.
• paint the living room
• Change the stairs carpet out for wood
• change out the banister and balcony banister
• change out handrails on the stairs
• totally redo the bathrooms
• Change the front of the fireplace (maybe)
• add flowers to the front along with cutting back other plants
