Dates

Time has been flying by.  I JUST realized that today was September 11th.   What were you doing on that day?  I was out running around the track when the attack occurred so I actually did not find out until a class period later.  I remember my teacher FREAKING out saying that this would be another world war and we would go into a depression.  While everyone sat there watching the news I sat there writing in my journal about what was going on.  Back then I was constantly writing in my journal when I had free time in class or at home even though at that time I had an online journal too.  Writing was my way to get things out of my system back then.  I've tried to go back to writing my journal in a book but have sense failed to keep up with it.  The only way I write in a timely manner is when I have an online journal.  But anyways... keep in mind those that lost their lives on this day.

Another date that I glanced over in terms of writing about was our dating anniversary.  On September 5th Chris and I celebrated the anniversary of our first day SEVEN years ago.  It seems like eternity.  We still celebrate our dating anniversary because to me it is an accomplishment to have been together for so long when there are so many things in life that can cause a couple to break up.  So seven years ago on that date my now husband picked me up on my first date where we went to watch a football game, ate at whattaburger, and then played at Walmart.  Luckily our finances have improved since then, and we have more options available to us.  Instead of a football game we went to the movies, instead of whattaburger we went to Olive Garden, and instead of playing in Walmart we went to.... well Target.... but I really wanted some stuff from there so it is okay :)

Coming up next month: Mom's birthday, Dad's Birthday, and Max's birthday.
