I gave up for now and went Back to regular vitamins. While not necessarily prenatal vitamins, i am getting the same amount of recommended nutrients but just about half ofthe recommended DHA. I picked up a child's vitamin that has DHA in it and so far so good as far as supplementing it. The students don't complain of any fishy smells and I'm not self conscious. This will tide me over until I see the doctor. I have been really sick lately. nauseousness and headaches which of course makes my friend at work think pregnancy right away but I definitely am not. :) it would be too soon anyways and she knows this is still a hush hush topic at work. Not many people at my job have kids due to the long hours and hard work.
Work wise things have been tough but there seems to be a shining beacon of hope towards next years schedule. We will see how everyone feels after a survey goes out to the staff in the next week or so. In the meantime I admit that I have been applying to schools a bit closer to home. Once the news about raises and such comes through then I'll know for sure if I am taking this job hunt seriously. Unfortunately I'm not sure how that will go. My family wants me to leave teaching but honesty I love the kids and don't want to leave. If I worked the regular teacher hours then I could at least have time for my masters degree.
Whats meant to be will be.
