December was a great month for us. We traveled home to visit our families adding new wonderful memories and enjoying the time that we get to spend with them. It was of course bitter sweet leaving because sometimes you just never know how long it will be. Luckily I already know when my parents will be visiting down next so that helped when we left their house. As for Chris's side of the family, I don't know when we will see them next so that was a bit sad.
On a cheerful note, Santa was very nice this year. He apparently heard my wish list and shared the information with Chris and low and behold... an Ipad2 was there under the tree on Christmas Eve. (We celebrate Christmas with my family on the Eve and his family on the actual day due to work schedules) I am clearly already addicted to it because I've had to charge it daily due to the amount of use it has been receiving during this winter break. I have 3 more days with it and then I'll head back to school and it's use will dwindle a bit.
School wise... I'm not ready. I thought I'd miss the kids
