For the past 6 months my brother moved in with us so that he could try to find a job down here as the job market dried up back home. He found a job and after working there for 6 months he was able to transfer to another branch back home. What this means for me is that I now have my office back!
I have spent the day moving most of my stuff back in with many thoughts as to why I have so many heavy books. Why??? I have them because I am addicted to GOOD center planning books.
As I rebuild my office I'll add pictures because we are making some exciting changes. One of the changes that we have started is painting/staining my desk. We completely took it apart today and began stripping the old stain off. I feel this will be a two weekend project because we have to do the bookcase as well. I haven't figured out what color to paint or stain it as of yet. My source of inspiration is Pinterest at the moment so we will see.
A few of my projects include the following...
- A picture frame message board
- Finally framing my degree
- a comfy seating area and coffee table to use as a desk
- curtains for the closet that no longer has doors.
